FUNCTION: Histone-binding component of NURF (nucleosome-remodeling factor), a complex which catalyzes ATP-dependent nucleosome sliding and facilitates transcription of chromatin. EWS-fusion-proteins (EFPS) may play a role in the tumorigenic process.
