FUNCTION: Enhances the transcriptional activities of several nuclear receptors. Involved in the coactivation of different nuclear receptors, such as ESR1, THRB, PPARG and RARA. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:11971969}.FUNCTION: Might normally function as a transcriptional repressor. EWS-fusion-proteins (EFPS) may play a role in the tumorigenic process.
