Main function of 5'-partner protein: FUNCTION: Histone acetyltransferase that acetylates lysine residues in histone H3 and histone H4 (in vitro). Component of the MOZ/MORF complex which has a histone H3 acetyltransferase activity. May act as a transcriptional coactivator for RUNX1 and RUNX2. Acetylates p53/TP53 at 'Lys-120' and 'Lys-382' and controls its transcriptional activity via association with PML. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:11742995, ECO:0000269|PubMed:11965546, ECO:0000269|PubMed:12771199, ECO:0000269|PubMed:16387653, ECO:0000269|PubMed:17925393, ECO:0000269|PubMed:23431171}.

Q8TCT8

Main function of 5'-partner protein: FUNCTION: Intramembrane-cleaving aspartic protease (I-CLiP) that cleaves type II membrane signal peptides in the hydrophobic plane of the membrane. Functions in FASLG, ITM2B and TNF processing (PubMed:16829952, PubMed:16829951, PubMed:17557115, PubMed:17965014). Catalyzes the intramembrane cleavage of the anchored fragment of shed TNF-alpha (TNF), which promotes the release of the intracellular domain (ICD) for signaling to the nucleus (PubMed:16829952). Also responsible for the intramembrane cleavage of Fas antigen ligand FASLG, which promotes the release of the intracellular FasL domain (FasL ICD) (PubMed:17557115). May play a role in the regulation of innate and adaptive immunity (PubMed:16829952). Catalyzes the intramembrane cleavage of the simian foamy virus envelope glycoprotein gp130 independently of prior ectodomain shedding by furin or furin-like proprotein convertase (PC)-mediated cleavage proteolysis (PubMed:23132852). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:16829951, ECO:0000269|PubMed:16829952, ECO:0000269|PubMed:17557115, ECO:0000269|PubMed:17965014, ECO:0000269|PubMed:23132852}.

Potential target of CAR-T therapy development for KAT6A-SPPL2A

check button Predicted 3D structure. We used RoseTTAFold.

check buttonRetention analysis result of each fusion partner protein across 39 protein features of UniProt such as six molecule processing features, 13 region features, four site features, six amino acid modification features, two natural variation features, five experimental info features, and 3 secondary structure features. Here, to provide the retention of the transmembrane domain, we only show the protein feature retention information of those transmembrane features

* Minus value of BPloci means that the break point is located before the CDS.
- In-frame and retained 'Transmembrane'.

check button Subcellular localization prediction of the transmembrane domain retained fusion proteins
* We used DeepLoc 1.0. The order of the X-axis of the barplot is as follows: Entry_ID, Localization, Type, Nucleus, Cytoplasm, Extracellular, Mitochondrion, Cell_membrane, Endoplasmic_reticulum, Plastid, Golgi.apparatus, Lysosome.Vacuole, Peroxisome. Y-axis is the output score of DeepLoc. Clicking the image will open a new tab with a large image.
