FUNCTION: Regulates autophagy by playing a role in the reduction of glucose production in an adiponectin- and insulin-dependent manner. {ECO:0000250}.FUNCTION: Might normally function as a transcriptional repressor. EWS-fusion-proteins (EFPS) may play a role in the tumorigenic process.
