Q86V24

Main function of 5'-partner protein: FUNCTION: Receptor for ADIPOQ, an essential hormone secreted by adipocytes that regulates glucose and lipid metabolism (PubMed:12802337, PubMed:25855295). Required for normal body fat and glucose homeostasis. ADIPOQ-binding activates a signaling cascade that leads to increased PPARA activity, and ultimately to increased fatty acid oxidation and glucose uptake. Has intermediate affinity for globular and full-length adiponectin. Required for normal revascularization after chronic ischemia caused by severing of blood vessels (By similarity). {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q8BQS5, ECO:0000269|PubMed:12802337, ECO:0000269|PubMed:25855295}.

Q9P0K8

Main function of 5'-partner protein: FUNCTION: [Isoform FOXJ2.L]: Transcriptional activator. Able to bind to two different type of DNA binding sites. More effective than isoform FOXJ2.S in transcriptional activation (PubMed:10777590, PubMed:10966786). Plays an important role in spermatogenesis, especially in spermatocyte meiosis (By similarity). {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q9ES18, ECO:0000269|PubMed:10777590, ECO:0000269|PubMed:10966786}.; FUNCTION: [Isoform FOXJ2.S]: Transcriptional activator. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:10966786}.
