Kinase Fusion Protein Functional Features |
Four levels of functional features of fusion genes Go to FGviewer search page for the most frequent breakpoint (https://ccsmweb.uth.edu/FGviewer/:/:) - FGviewer provides the online visualization of the retention search of the protein functional features across DNA, RNA, protein, and pathological levels. - How to search 1. Put your fusion gene symbol. 2. Press the tab key until there will be shown the breakpoint information filled. 4. Go down and press 'Search' tab twice. 4. Go down to have the hyperlink of the search result. 5. Click the hyperlink. 6. See the FGviewer result for your fusion gene. |

NUP98 | DDR2 |
FUNCTION: Plays a role in the nuclear pore complex (NPC) assembly and/or maintenance. NUP98 and NUP96 are involved in the bidirectional transport across the NPC (PubMed:33097660). May anchor NUP153 and TPR to the NPC. In cooperation with DHX9, plays a role in transcription and alternative splicing activation of a subset of genes (PubMed:28221134). Involved in the localization of DHX9 in discrete intranuclear foci (GLFG-body) (PubMed:28221134). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:15229283, ECO:0000269|PubMed:33097660}.; FUNCTION: (Microbial infection) Interacts with HIV-1 capsid protein P24 and nucleocapsid protein P7 and may thereby promote the integration of the virus in the host nucleus (in vitro) (PubMed:23523133). Binding affinity to HIV-1 CA-NC complexes bearing the capsid change Asn-74-Asp is reduced (in vitro) (PubMed:23523133). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:23523133}. | FUNCTION: Tyrosine kinase involved in the regulation of tissues remodeling (PubMed:30449416). It functions as a cell surface receptor for fibrillar collagen and regulates cell differentiation, remodeling of the extracellular matrix, cell migration and cell proliferation. Required for normal bone development. Regulates osteoblast differentiation and chondrocyte maturation via a signaling pathway that involves MAP kinases and leads to the activation of the transcription factor RUNX2. Regulates remodeling of the extracellular matrix by up-regulation of the collagenases MMP1, MMP2 and MMP13, and thereby facilitates cell migration and tumor cell invasion. Promotes fibroblast migration and proliferation, and thereby contributes to cutaneous wound healing. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:16186104, ECO:0000269|PubMed:16186108, ECO:0000269|PubMed:17665456, ECO:0000269|PubMed:18201965, ECO:0000269|PubMed:20004161, ECO:0000269|PubMed:20564243, ECO:0000269|PubMed:20734453, ECO:0000269|PubMed:30449416, ECO:0000269|PubMed:9659899}. |
Retention analysis result of each fusion partner protein across 39 protein features of UniProt such as six molecule processing features, 13 region features, four site features, six amino acid modification features, two natural variation features, five experimental info features, and 3 secondary structure features. Here, because of limited space for viewing, we only show the protein feature retention information belong to the 13 regional features. All retention annotation result can be downloaded at * Minus value of BPloci means that the break pointn is located before the CDS. |
